Hi,
I have a Biostar M7VKB mobo(discontnued/no bios updates available), 800MHz Duron, 512MB PC133 CL3 SDRAM(one stick), Gainward Geforce3 TI200, 20GB and 100GB Western Digital HDDs, Pioneer 106s slot load DVD-ROM, Lite-ON 24x10x40 CD-RW, generic ethernet controller, and a SB Adigy X-Gamer sound card. The 20GB is the master and the 100GB is the slave. I have tried taking everything out of the system except vid card, cpu, ram, cd, and HDD. I have tried with just the dvd and with just the cdrw. I have tried installing with the previous partition on the drive, and I have also deleted the partition and the MBR(master boot record). I have tried different RAM sticks. If I have missed something somewhere, or have not tried something, then please suggest it.

what is the error?

Have you tried underclocking the RAM?

The error is important to know, but check to see if you're overheating (especially if your error isn't consistant each time).
