XP pro vs. home, which is better for gaming?

there is very little difference between the two operating systems to begin with, none of wich has any thing to do with games.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

I think pro is better for certain games.
Also home would not be better at any.
In other words they are mosly equal except in networking and some online situations.

Since XP home and XP pro have the same kernel and are in essence the same operating system the answer would have to be XP home edition by virtue that XP home has less overhead than Xp pro does thus leaving more system resources for games under XP home edition. The only difference is XP pro has more bells and whistles than XP home does so less resources are available for gaming in identically configured systems.
