Printer cartrige empty?

Hello,
How do I tell if my printer cartrige is empty hp1315

The printer will tell you, you'll see printing issues (banding, lightness, missing text/image spots), it will also feel a bit lighter and you won't be able to rear anything sloshing around if you shake it.

You can also put on a white shirt and crack it open over your head. If you get stained, it was not empy.
