Hi guys! This is my first post in this forum. I've done some research, but come up empty handed.
I've got a Sony Vaio VGN-SZ750N notebook. Its about 2 years old, and about 6 months ago, I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. Even though Sony says my model isn't officially supported for Windows 7, I haven't had any issues until now.
I just bought a PRSZ1 docking station. It seems to work great; I've tested all of the ports.. vga, usb, ethernet, etc. When I'm done using the docking station, I push the 'undock' button, disconnect, and go about my business.
The problem comes when I try to re-attatch the docking station. If the computer is running when I connect the docking station, it freezes completely. My mouse stops moving and I have to restart. If the computer boots while connected, everything is fine. Its only when I dock while already running it freezes. I don't know if its a driver issue, or a Win 7 compatibility issue, or maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
