My system specs:
AMD Athlon XP2400+ Thoroughbred + Spire 5F263B1M3 WhisperRock III Cooler
Soltek Sl-75KAV Motherboard
448mb Sdram
Sapphire Ati Radeon 9000 Atlantis Pro 128mb

My problem: i can´t run my processor on its normal clock rate 2ghz (CPU ext. freq. 133.3mhz) because it crashes after few minutes. It just jams the hole system and you have to reboot. I´ve checked the memory, it shouldn´t be problem. It works just fine 1,5ghz (100mhz ext.), no problems at all.. :S could it be a faulty processor? I have 2 months left on its warranty.

heatsink - fan

try cleaning your CPU heatsink fan and leave the side of your case off to see if its a heat problem

No, it´s not imo overheating problem because temperature won´t rise over 55 degrees celsius when it is on (normally 49-52). Could it be something in processor itself? I´m gonna get it changed if I don´t come up with an solution.

EDIT: Hmm it seems that the top part of cooler is loose and it doesn´t function correctly, temperatures got 58celsius on 1,5ghz. I´m probably going to get my pc into store tomorrow and let guys there see if cpu and cooler are in need of change.
