Hello,
Had anyone experienced this under Windows 2000 Professional?
- Windows 2000 Pro Computer connected to a Domain (Active Directory)
- Domain User's account does NOT have admin rights to local computer.
What happens:
1. Add the domain user's account to the local machine's administrator
group
2. Log in under the User's domain account, and install PalmOne Desktop
ver 4.1.4
3. Everything Runs fine.
Here's the Problem:
1. Remove the user's domain account from the local machine's
"Administrator" group.
2. Log in as the User, now Palmone Desktop software will hang when you
launch it.
3. Add the user's domain account to the local machine's "Power Users"
group
4. Log in as the User, same problem, Palmone Desktop software will
hang when you launch it.
Running with the switch
"c:\Program Files\palmone\palm.exe" -r
doesn't fix the problem.
