Hello,where is the battery on a dell dimension 8300 desk top computer ?

the power supply in a computer transforms the power from your wall socket so that it may be used by your hardware inside your case but it requires a constant stream of power from your wall socket to do so.

the only battery typically found on a computer is the one on your motherboard, which is a flat wafer style one. this is only used for the clock and i believe for bios (but not sure on the latter).
