can you help me build a budget comp?

i have probably as much as $1000. I don't know much (i know some but not a lot) about parts. i definitly want AMD 64-bit. I also need a 6600GT or if i have money left over a 6800GT. Finally, i want 1 GB ram and 80 GB hd. Can you suggest me all the parts for the budget computer? thank you for your time.

Well, I was doing the same thing and came up with this config. It's probably not perfect but looks to me like a nice system.

i already have monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse. i have as much as $1000 and i would like to build a budget gaming pc.
