Windows 7 driver dvd

Hello,
I have a problem. When a going to install the windows 7 x64, my computer asl for a DVD driver. So I select this, but the instalation dont follow. What is my problem?

Firstly, do you have a dvd drive? next, how are you trying to install? a new instalation or an upgrade from a previous operating system. We need some more information as Windows 7 does not require a driver to install, but does need a dvd drive.

May be a problem with how the DVD drive is detected in bios, ie ide mode unter sata. I've installed win 7 on 3 desktops and two laptop and in none of the installations has win 7 installation prompted for a driver. Also check in bios how the HDD is detected, most use AHCI mode unless doing a raid configuration.

I've seen this before - Check for a bad burn on the discs. Simplest way is to borrow someone else's media for the appropriate version and install. Just use your key when prompted instead of theirs.
