Price out those parts at Newegg and see how much it would cost you.

I've dropped roughly <font color=green>$2200</font color=green> usd on my system, but i'm sure some of my components are a little bit higher in price.(IE - processor, HDD. etc....) That includes the cost of all the modding supplies as well though and mine isn't watercooled so you could probably use that to compare a bit. Of course mine is an AMD system and I'm also using some of my exsisting EQ. such as my TDK 8x dvd burner, but some of the components are comparable.....
Sounds like an alright price to me if everything works like he claims.

That is very close to what it would cost to build it new. Of course, you have to figure time and effort too. He might have a MO stepping CPU in there which is great. However, at this stage of the game do you want to pound this much dough into this platform? It would be a great machine for the time being but not very far into the future.
