I need to know what CPU fan I should get for my AMD 64 3200 Newcastle.

I'm not overclcoknig it but past experiance with a 64 3000 tells me investing in something better than the stock HSF is quite wise.

I dont need something that will keep the CPU cool for overlcoking, just something slightly better than the stock HSF thats quiet and will always keep the temp from exceeding 60c.

Thanks,...

I have a newcastle 3200+. It is folding, when it's not gaming. I run it @ 2.45, with stock hsf. Max temp so far is 55c. Like most Amd chips, you need a good psu, with a large intake fan on the bottom. Of course, it could be that your mobo was reading the sensors wrong.
that seems to happen a lot with some boards. Have you tried a bios flash?

Zalman makes excellent HSF's that not only do a more than adequate job of cooling your CPU but also wisk the warm air away from your video card, Ram, Northbridge chip and FET.

I just installed the 7700-cu on my 3700+
