Looks like a good build to me... I have never put a ton of thought into my case fans... for the most part I just let my wife pick the one that is "prettiest", so I really don't think it matters too much.

If you want the highest air output with lowest noise level, check out the Silverstone fans]. The only downside to these is that they only come in white. These fans rock otherwise.

Wow, I am definetly putting more thought into my fans next time a build... I never have cared that much before, although I don't do the extreme OCing that many of you do, so maybe I have just never seen the need. Although I have been thinking of OCing the new rig I got... just wanna see how fast she will run.

Dude, you are getting a socket 775 Prescott. You can't mess around with wimpy fans! You need the_ghost.

Splendid
Isn't anyone going to tell him that http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=35-109-118&depa=0 his heatsink is for s478, not sT?
How about that he could just forget all the fan noise, throttling, and crappy performance by getting an
A64?

I have grown tired of telling people to buy A64's... but you are right... we should have told him.

Buy an A64 and you won't have to worry about lighting your house on fire everytime you play a game!!

Agrees with the last two posts...

Dude get an A64 or will have to figure out how to mount that Ghost fan (hehehe) and then you wont have room left for a killer video card. Just imagine, smoke alarms going off, fire dept being called, just because you need to have that really nice Intel Prescott processor. ROFL.

lazerous I am quite positive that I laughed for about 5 minutes straight when you told the first guy to mount on the Ghost fan for his P4... I wish I found that link before you did.

That was Cybercraig that originally posted the link. I just thought it was so funny we needed to keep bringing it up!

I'm sitting here looking at a 7000 Cu that I just pulled off a board. This sucker has to weigh 3 pounds. The motherboard has a warp in it from the weight. It's like mounting a shotput on your MB. If you use these or the solid copper 7700's I would be damn careful. If this puppy broke loose it would break your Vid card in two!
