Why wont my acer aspire 5920g not load

Can you tell if the fans, hard drive, etc... seem to be running?

hello, i can hear the fans and the hard drive light flashes 5 times, can hear the disc drive start up after that not sure

Test your power supply first. Make sure it is producing power.

does it go off just before the OS boots up? if so, try starting in safe mode and check for viruses etc. if it doesn't go off before you get the chance. could be a driver problem too. i take it there's no error message of any kind before this happens?
