i just bought a new rig, and i have this dual monitor setup for now that i tought i'd keep, but now i'm wondering if it'd be worth the money to upgrade....

actual: primary=22" VX2235wm LCD @ 1680x1050 / secondary=older (±5years old) viewsonic 19" @ 1280x1024

i'm looking to replace the main display by a 27" monitor, and keep the 22" for secondary... but i'm not willing to pay 500$+ for it. the problem is that i'm not sure of the resolution you get for a reasonable price on a 27" monitor...

right now i'm looking at the ASUS VE276Q 27IN 1080p Monitor... is a 1920x1080 resolution enough on a huge 27" monitor? eyes around 24"-30" from the screen... what do you think?

oh... important detail, the usage if this monitor will be gaming (arpg, fps, strategy), internet browsing, watching movies, and remote desktop (work)

I personally like the Asus better. Good record of customer service also.
