I would tend to agree however I am looking at this for my brother and one of the things he wanted was a 17" screen. I found this for comparison; http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1683...
It has similar stats, though it seems the video card isn't as good. How major is the difference between these two cards (Radeon mobility 5145 on the 17" and Radeon HD 5730 on the 15")? I honestly don't know the difference when you move into laptop VGA's. Keep in mind that the most taxing game that will be running on this thing is probably maplestory. I might want to play counterstrike when I'm at home, but that is about it.
If I can find a convincing argument for a 15" laptop then I will certainly recommend it to him, but I don't have aconvincing enough argument.... yet.
