Hp c410a incompatable ink cartridges message

The c410a printer came with #364 setup cartridges. I wish to replace the black cartridge only with Hp recommended #564 black (just printing Black& white)and leave the setup color cartridges till they runout, but I get an "Incompatable Ink Cartridge" message. Do I have to replace them all at once?

Should not have to replace them both. Make sure you installed them properly, no tape is on the cartridge, nothing is blocking the sensors.
