USB Device Not Recognized error message with Zire 31

Hi

Nearly everytime i turn on my Zire 31 i get a popup error message
stating that "USB Device Not Recognized." In Device Manager I see
Unknown Device under USB Controllers. What is going on? I can hotsync
without issue.

Windows XP SP2 and ASUS P4P800 Deluxe

I connected the Zire 31 first. Then i disconnected the Zire 31 and
clean installed Palm Desktop and reconnected the Zire 31 and i am still
getting the error message!
