Running Windows 7.
So I got a message from the action center that specified I should remove the Virtool:Win32/Beeinject virus. I followed the given instructions, followed by this guide:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/protect/forum/mse-protect_scanning/how-to-remove-win32beeinject/f95bc1c8-b5d6-4b74-aea5-203dd8787b60

On all steps I did not detect any malware, viruses, etc. I even went through with the Norton power eraser.

The registry keys specified here:

http://www.pcproblemfix.com/how-to-remove-virtoolwin32beeinject-virus-removal-guide/#.UMV12Go3ojY.blogger

...are nonexistant on my computer.

However, the action center keeps saying that I need to remove the virus.

I did a system restore, that encountered an error, and apparently was unable to finish.

Any suggestions? I have followed the guides online to their completion to no avail.

All help would be sincerely appreciated. That being said, I can follow directions quite well, and have above average experience with computers. So please treat me with the knowledge that I have followed the guides posted above.
