HDMI and display port

Is there any way to convert hdmi output to display port input? For example, to connect hdmi out of PS3 to display port in of Dell U2311H?

A quick Google search shows plenty of DisplayPort to HDMI adapters, but not the other way around. So, I would say probably not, but it would not hurt to try.
