Scanning problems with hp printer

I am using an hpF4580 and when I press the scan button I get a 2 page printout each time of network configuration and wireless test report.How can I stop that and just get things scanned?Cant find any elp on that at HP solution.Many thanks

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.
If you use Windows software, try the built-in Scanner and Camera Wizard to drive the scanner rather than its own button. The Wireless Test report is a different button on the little screen menu so that's probably become associatged withthe scanner button somehow. By-pass that and see if it works properly then we can take the problem from there.
That HP should scan and copy independently of a wireless or any other connection to a computer.
