I just noticed a problem I have with my right flipper. The action of
the flipper is fine. I have no problem hitting the ball and it has
plenty of power. My problem is when I try to make the extra-ball light
advance to the next slot it wont always move, but when I use the left
flipper it advances with no problem. I also had the problem when I was
setting some of the configuration, I could only use the left flipper to
go through my options backwards. The right flipper would'nt change any
of the values, but the flipper does fire like it should. Any ideas?
Thanks

Right flipper has a seperate lane change switch in pinbot, it is a
normally open switch that closes when the flipper flips via a plastic
triangular lifter. Lift the playfield and look at this switch - move
the flipper manually, you should see the end of stroke switch open at
full stroke and the lane change switch close. You can clean the lane
change switch with a piece of paper (don't file it!) or adjust as
needed. You might also have a wire broken off it, a shorted diode, or
something else shorted. IMPORTANT: DO NOT ADJUST THIS WITH THE POWER
ON!!! It's VERY easy to short out the solenoid voltage through your
switch matrix, and turn what should be a very simple adjustment into an
expensive repair.

That fixed it.
Thanks
