Install Windows 7

I'm not sure if this is in the right section but...

I need help re-installing windows 7 on an hp mini 311 laptop. It had windows 7 originally and I cleared the hard drive with dban. I then reformatted the hard drive using ubuntu (off of a flash drive) However, whenever I tried to install windows 7 it told me it was missing cd drivers. However, when I installed windows vista and installed all drivers, it still wouldn't install. Any ideas. Thanks in advance .

More Information: The laptop says that it is missing cd/dvd drivers yet it does not have a cd/dvd drive and I am trying to install using a flash drive. Please respond .

goto hp website and download drivers from there

Yes, it is a clean install and I have installed the drivers from hp.
