New Proc: CELL

How does this affect the average consumer for desktop applicaitons. Any ideas? Opinions?

From what Sony and IBM have to say, apparently it doesn't.

Not any time time soon.. if ever. Its an interesting design though for technical computing ("supercomputers") and the like.
