I'll go with what I have played....

1. LOTR
2. TSPP
3. RBION
4. T3
5. Mono
6. RCT
7. Nascar
8. Elvis
9. HRC

* I feel that both LOTR and TSPP (for Stern) are a quantum leap beyond
the other titles on my list.

1. LOTR
2. TSPP
3. T3
4. Elvis
5. MONO
6. Sopranos
7. RCT
8. HRC
9. RBION
10. AP

Big gap

11. SE

Not enough time on Nascar yet to know. Of course if I were to toss in
the Classic Sterns, you would see a much different list in the top ten.

I like all of them that I've had the
chance to play, with TSPP being the
weakest title so far. Agree on Elvis.
No particular order on the others.

Haven't done LOTR or Nascar yet.

Only what I've played more than a few times:

LOTR
TSPP
Elvis (I'd put this above TSPP, but I don't like the Elvis theme)
Austin Powers (big fan of the movies)
T3
RBION
MONO
RCT
HRC

Here's mine but LOTR is the only one i'd consider buying.

1. LOTR
2. Elvis
3. T3
4. NASCAR (only had a few plays on it)
5. TSPP
6. Monopoly
7. Sopranos
8. RBION
9. RCT
10. HRC

Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball (More info?)

1. El@vis
2. RB@ION
3. LO@TR
4. Play@boy
5. TS@PP
6. RC@T

Generally speaking I enjoy all of the new pins when I see them. They
are all have a very different feel then the older WMS tables. Can't
wait to see the next machine using Sterns new board set! Will be
assessing Monopoly in a week or so...

That is not what this thread is saying. These are STERN rankings and
there isn't much beyond a top 4 Stern for most people that is worth
owning unless it was cheap. It's one of the better STERN, but that
isn't hard to do with 17 titles- most are iffy at best. Not to mention
that many have yet a chance to play some of the later (or even early)
titles.

Rank T3 along with every pinball ever made and see how it ranks. Most
cases it won't make the top 10..or 20.

No, silly, one of the better STERN machines of the last 15 years. Like
saying Steel Wheels is one of the better Stones Albums since Tattoo
You. Big Deal.

I would have to say:

1) Seawitch
2) StarGazer
3) Quicksilver
4) Nineball
5) Meteor
6) Cheetah
7) Gamatron
8) All of the rest which are great too...

I just listed the games I've played before. In general I like most all
the early Stern titles. Wasn't trying to dis star gazer.

Later on,

TSPP/Elvis tie for top slot. Both are pretty unique and have their own
attractive attributes.

LOTR/T3 tie for second. I have limited time on properly working T3s,
and this title could move up or down a notch with more play. Right now
I think Ritchie can be proud of his rework of T2. Rings is a
drain-o-matic with near impossible rules, but still plenty of fun to
play.

HRC is third. Sue me, I like it.

Monopoly 4th.

RCT 5th. This game would have been higher, but a weak upper flipper,
reject-o-matic jackpot/extra ball saucer, and scrambler spinner that
gets locked up are just too many serious flaws to put it higher.

AP 6th. Don't care for the theme, the sound is painful, and for some
reason I just can't hit teh shots on that game. The two standups on
either side of the time machine ramp (along with the ramp istelf)
create SDTM drains aplenty. Those dang rainbow stickers on the flippers
freak me out for some reason.

Playboy 7th. Drop the target, shoot the ramp. Repeat infinitely with a
Grotto once in a while for pillow fight.

Sharkey's 8th. I'd rather play 8BD, it has better sound and inline drop
targets.

I haven't played the rest, or haven't played enough to make a
judgement. Never touched Ripleys, Nascar, or NFL, and have only played
a couple games each on the rest.

Unless REAL women are involved, sorry, they count for nothing. They do
add visual appeal, and the DMD work on this game is GREAT, but for a
pinball game the play is way too repetitive. Yes, it is lovely to look
at, but a yawner to play.

ELVIS
LOTR
(THE ABOVE ARE WAY AHEAD OF THE BELOW IMO) AS FAR AS GAME PLAY RULE
SET, SOUND, ART AND FLOW. LOTR HAS THE BEST VOICE AND SOUND, VERY
EXCITING LIKE PLAYING BSD.

NASCAR
RBION
RCT
SOPRANOS
TSPP
MONOPOLY
T3

HAVEN'T PLAYED AUSTIN OR PLAYBOY OR HRC AND I WONT EVEN RANK SHARKEYS
SHOOTOUT OR STRIKER

Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball (More info?)

TSPP
Monopoly
Roller Coaster Tycoon

LOTR is a good game, but I've never been much into Lord Of The Rings in
general.

I've only played a few, but:

1) LOTR
2) Elvis
3) T3
4) RBION
5) Rollercoaster Tycoon

There's a huge gap from T3 to RBION. Elvis is surprisingly good in my
opinion.

Since 1999,

1) LOTR
2) TSPP
3) T3

8) RBION
9) Playboy
10) SE/NFL

1) LOTR (One of the best games in my stable, overall great sound &
rules + nice flow except for the POTD)

2) TSPP (Great fun, but doesn't grab me as much as LOTR)

3) ELVIS

I am dying to try NASCAR somewhere here in Phoenix. Does anyone know if
MTN Coin or C&C has one yet?

I'd have to say- in terms of all-time best selling:

1) Monpoly
2) Roller Coaster Tycoon
3) Simpsons Pinball Party
4) LOTR

My personal "likes":
1) Simpsons Pinball Party
2) Roller Coaster Tycoon

LOTR is a well-designed and intense/deep game, which is great, but I just
ain't a "trolls and wiggly-worms" kinda guy- y'all can have it... ;)
