Which CPU fan and heatsink is good?

I never purchased an OEM CPU. This is the first time and I am searching for a heatsink and fan for an ATHLON XP 2900+ which is going on top of a Chaintech 7NJL6 Socket A motherboard.

Can you guys recomend a good heatsink?...not necesarily the most expensive ones. I am not going to OC.

I've never heard of an xp2900+ either. Are you sure it's real?
A good fan, for mild OCing, that's not too loud is the vantec aeroflow. If you want to OC a bit more, or quieter, the zalmans are nice. If you want to do some serious OCing, listen to wusy.

Lizzy, why not get an A64 socket 754 bundle? You will be much happier in the end. There really is no such thing as an XP-2900+!

That CPU doesn't exist.

Do yourself a favor and check out TigerDirect at resellerratings.com. You'll see that their rating of 6.91 out of 10 is mediocre at best.

I wouldn't spend my hard earned cash there. I was just tempted since they have the speakers I want in stock, but I passed.

That price is amazing, but it is too good to be true. Look elsewhere.
