Look at his for sale list, these pins sold about 2 or 3 weeks ago !, I
know I was bidding on a couple of them , these "new" pins have the same
pics and everything! his latest black rose has "sold" at least twice!
, could this mean hes bidding up his own stuff?? hehe

Maybe he had high bidders that flaked out on him? I know that in his
auction for the BR (the first time) he didn't state the whirlpool ramp
was missing, maybe that's what killed that deal?

So you're saying that in every auction sellers must go thru the list of
2nd highest bidder, 3rd highest, etc until they sell the item?

I do not think he is saying that at all, what he is saying is that it
appears that either he is shill bidding or having someone shill bid for
him, then relisting them.. That is what I am reading here.

I think (guessing here) that the Black Rose was relisted due to the
first auction stating it was complete when in fact it was missing the
whirlpool ramp. That could have been a deal breaker. The second one
mentioned the missing ramp.

That being said, it went for $225 and seemed to be a decent deal. I
came in second in bidding and now I wish that I had bid a little more.

BTW, some of these pins he has been dumping are from South Africa. I
got a HS and a JP from him when a few weeks ago and both were factory
set for South Africa. The JP was in such awful shape, EVERY piece of
metal not already stripped was covered in rust. And had an inch of
desert in the cab!

This is a common perception. Not only the games resurface but that
WPC-95 fixture keeps showing up also. As a bidder I would think
something definately smells like week old anchovies. I have personally
had a discussion with two RGP'ers who bid on that test fixture each
time it shows up, and they have let me know they bid the exact same
amount, not a penny more. They were talking about how there is always
one bid above thiers.

I don't know Kirk & I don't think I have bought anything of his,
although I am sure I have bidded, and seem to have gotten nudged out
each time. So, I quit bidding only because I can't see who wins. I
would reccomend that no one bid in a private list for this reason. But
that is only my opinion, FWIW.
