I found a service (ControlPanel/AdminTools/Service) for a program that I've already deleted, and would like to delete it but do not know how. I am using Win XP Home (SP1).

Delete the correct file in \windows\system32\drivers.

there really is no reason to delete it as long as you set it to disabled. But if you must, delete the key from:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
in the registry

<i>It's always the one thing you never suspected.</i>
