What port do i install my laserjet 1100 on a windows 7 machine

I have installed a HP Laserjet 1100 to a windows 7 machine using a parallel to usb adaptor. What port should I assign the printer to when I install the drive that comes from Microsoft?

it should automatically detect the printer and port when you plug in the usb cable to your computer.
