You don't need a new CPU.

In general...there is never a good time, as tech is always changing, new clockspeed bumps etc.

And no...you don't need any more RAM unless you are using apps (Photoshop / Vid editing) which really benefit from the RAM.

It looks like you built that PC for gaming...and it is just fine the way it is.

Keep what you have. Your A64 3000+ is a better gamer than almost any P4.

In the mean time, try adaware and spotbot for everything running in the background. (just kidding) :lol:
