I've got an I 5000. I need to find out which F button to push to boot
into safe mode. The Windows help on the 'puter is non-functional, so I
can't find out that way.

Hi Tom,

If it's Win98, F8 will give you a menu where you can choose "Safe Mode".

Yeah, I shoulda mentioned that it's 98SE. Anyway, that's what I was
