Outlook express and windows 7

Hello,
without using techno blurb can anyone tell me:
1. is outlook express part of windows 7 ?
2. if not, can i download it from somewhere, free, for use in windows 7 ?
3. if not, can i use outlook ?
4. is outlook free ? if not, how do i acquire it ?

Outlook express hasn't been used since Windows XP, you can now use windows live mail, which can be downloaded here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/essenti... It is essentially the same thing. If you MUST have Outlook you can purchase Microsoft Office 2010 which will come with a copy of Outlook. Best of luck to you

Outlook Express is Not part of windows 7,

There is a modified version available here : http://rafailb.tk/index.php?itemid=27 that is tasted and works on windows 7 and windows 8.

Rav thanks, but I cannot get it to remember the password on Win 7 64 bit, used language changer as admin and checked protected storage was run automatically. Any thoughts?

There is a new (2/26/14) version that is supposed to fix that problem. (http://www.rafailb.tk/index.php?itemid=27)

Sadly it is not comparable with the 64
!
