ASUS G73JH Subwoofer Problem

Hello, I bought an ASUS G73JH over the summer and haven't been using it much until school has started. I use it as a desktop replacement that I can bring to college easily. However, I have noticed that the subwoofer will play sound even when I have headphones or external speakers plugged in. I tried reinstalling sound drivers but I can't get it to stop playing sound. I even tried disabling the computers speakers from the control panel but sound still comes out of the subwoofer. If anyone has any input or suggestions as to how I can fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Strange issue. It sounds as if it is a hardware related problem. Your best bet to fix it would be to contact Asus support and see if they have a fix for it.
