Broken laptop screen can i run my laptop using my P C

my screen is shattered (laptop) i
cant keep the external monitor working im in safe mode with networking
but as soon as i try to run normally no signal comes up iv;e tried fn then /f5.f8.f4 all the tricks now im trying to down load a mirror program but as soon as i reboot after install it gos back to normal windows
can i run my laptop by conecting it to my P.C
or just get the external screen working
