Intel boot agent FE v4 1 18

Hello,
I did a complete format of my drive and now it comes up with the following problem,

PXE=E61
: Media test failure, check cable
PXE=MOF: Exiting Intel Boot Agent
Operation system not found.

I can't put freah opertaion on the HD till I get by this problem.
I have a Gateway MP8708 laptop

I Happen To be going through the same problem..,the only difference is that I have an hp of some kind......but the thing is that it was working perfectly for the past few days, actually weeks to be exact....earlier today it had shut off and I didn't turn it back on until later in the night but I was faced with this booting problem and I have no idea what to do about it besides buy a new computer all together
