Dual Monitors

I have never set up dual monitors before but I have witnessed the productivity benefits one can reap. At the moment, I have an ASUS 1920 x 1080 monitor and I was hoping I could get another 1280 x 1024 screen to make dual monitors. My question is, will this work, or will the difference in resolution cause problems?

It'll work, no problem. The only time having a difference in resolution matters is when you use Eyefinity or 2D surround, but for an extended desktop, it is not an issue.

Sweet, I guess I'll go pick up the monitor. It's only $15 anyways so it wouldn't have been a disaster if it hadn't worked.
