Serial to parallel port converter

i purchase thermal recipt printer with parllai port but my pc have a serial port connection only give me a suggestion to convert this parllal port to serial port..
this is very urgent to solve this problem so plz........................ mail me ur suggestions

Hi,

if your PC has a serial port I'd think the motherboard should have a parallel port header on board. What you'd need to find would then (if my idea is right) just be a parallel port bracket for your computer (to be mounted at the back, in one of the plugin card spaces) which should come with a standardized connector to fit the header on the motherboard. After connection make sure that the parallel port is enabled in your BIOS.
