It looks like alot of people are using 20/30/20 which works out nicely physically because the height of a 30" monitor is typically 18" and the width of a 20 inch is about 18 so when they are in portrait landscape portrait configuration they line up nicely. However, no 20 inch monitors have native 1080p which is an issue if your using windows 7 since it will make you scale your HD 30 inch to 1600X900 which is completely unacceptable.

There is also 27 inch to consider, but 27 inches also have a vertical height of about 18 inches so therefore your better off getting a 30 inch which gives you more pixels in the same size monitor.

Any suggestions?
