I own a Toshiba Satellite 2805-S402 laptop that has been giving me this consistent nagging problem whenever I log on the Internet through Ethernet service. When I move my mouse to scroll the screen downward to see more text on the web pages, sometimes suddenly the entire screen freezes and my mouse pointer freezes as well. The entire computer freezes as well and refuses to respond to ctrl-alt-del or any keyboard commands. My only alternative is to force it to shut down by pressing the power button hastily. I've done this multiple times and I know that can't be healthy, but I don't know about what else I can do other than restarting.

The time period it freezes doesn't appear to have any rhyme or reason to it either. It is more likely to freeze when I scroll down for some text to the far right, but sometimes it just freezes in the middle as well.

I've been asking customer support but they've been less than helpful. Any help guys?
