Hi,

I got an Acer G245H LCD a couple weeks back. I notice something slightly strange with it. If there's an area of flat, clean color, like the white of a webpage, there's a few areas of graininess, speckle on it. It's almost as if the screen is a bit dirty or a bit smudged behind the surface of the screen. It's especially noticeable if I lean in close, but I can still see it when I sit normally. It reminds me a bit of if I had cleaned it with a slightly dirty or oily rag and there's a slight watery, oily smear, except it's behind the screen's surface. Is there anything I can do? Or is this normal for a lower-end monitor? Thanks.

I totally disagree with this, why repair a new monitor when you can exchange it for a new one?

Even an older monitor, most of the time it's as cheap or cheaper to just buy a new one unless the monitor is a very high end one.
