I need to restart my machine regularly. Programs and files that were open before the restart stay closed until I manually open them. Are there way(s) to have the same programs and files open after Windows has fully re-loaded?
As one way, you could try dropping them into the Start Menu/All programs 'Startup' folder........W7......er.....dunno about W8 since it, well.....you know.
Why the need to restart so often? If it doesn't need to be truly restarted, why not just put the computer to sleep or hibernate? Sleep and hibernate will maintain the system state.

I saw in the SSD boot tests on youtube huge amount of programs open up continuously after the fresh restart, any idea how they make it?
My shops take OUT programs that start WITH Windows as every single one of them takes a certain amount of resources (both cpu and ram) to run.... not a great idea to add to them...

All the best Brett
I swear I don't understand anything, and I always wanted to tell you that if you remove the "Hi, all the best from Brett" it will be more nice as it looks kinda kiddish.
