My microphone default device is grayed.. i cant do anything

i thought the microphone of my headset had a problem so i bought a new one.. but still wont work. i went to recording device and click on microphone but there are 2 standing mic but i cant click the default device because its grayed out. please help me..what shall i do? i tried all the possible way but i cant get any answers.

Because you right click on the device and select enable.
