Setting up dual display with 1 dvi port?

I would like to know if it's possible to set up a dual monitor display with only a single dvi port. I have the second moniter of course as well as 2 dvi cables, but I'm not sure how to set this up, what kind of cables do I need? Some kind of splitter?

If your video card supports dual monitors the single DVI port, then you would need a special cable compatible with your card.
