Dual Monitor setup

Ok, so I recently bought an asus monitor that included an hdmi input with a connection for speakers, which is what I needed since I have a ps3, so now I have a duo monitor setup but the new monitor has the ps3 connected to it, the asus monitor is the main display since its better than the other monitor I have and its set to extend desktop
The question is that when I switch input to hdmi to play on the ps3, is it possible for the computer to automatically make the second display as the primary monitor and change from extend display to just a single monitor?
