I want to buy a decent gaming laptop.

1_What is your budget?

$700-$900


2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

15.6"-17.3"


3_What screen resolution do you want?

1440x900 - 1920x1080


4_Do you need portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Mostly a desktop replacement as I am selling my custom built gaming computer.


5_How much battery life do you need?

2 hours while gaming (obviously not plugged in)


6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

WoW (Ultra)
Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 (medium-high)
Bad Company 2 (medium-high)
Modern Warfare 2 (medium-high)
Just Cause 2 (medium-high)


7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)
Video editing, photo editing (After Effects CS5)


8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?

500GB +

Really anywhere. Would like to buy locally (Portland, Oregon) but I am willing to order online. (Newegg.com or anything similar)

The best right before bluray (too expensive)

The best notebook you can get in your price range has a VGA like HD 5730M which is a mid-range card and can handle those games on medium-low settings on a resolution like 1600x900 or some of them on high on a resolution like 1366x768,is that OK with you ?
