Monitor for PS3 and PC

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a 23" - 24" monitor that I can use both with my PC and PS3. I am not looking for a high-end monitor, maximum 250 - 300$. I will use it my ps3 too so a hdmi input is important.

I usually play games on my pc and I can't decide if I should buy an ips or tn panel monitor. I know that tn has better response time but i am not much into fps games like COD or BF. I play games like Max Payne 3, Dragon Age, Batman:AC, Witcher 2, Skyrim. I also heard good things about 120 hz monitors but my gpu is gtx 560 ti, so 120 hz wont work well with my gpu right? I think I need a better gpu for 120 hz.

Note: I won't buy from newegg.com so I am looking at the normal prices not the discounted prices

Currently I feel like IPS might be better for my use but your opinions are very important. Which monitor should I buy? Of course you can suggest something other than the monitors above.

Anyone used it before, does it have some problems or you recommend it? Any response is useful.
