A NICE SOCKET 939 WINCHESTER CORE RIG WILL DO YOU FINE. SINCE THE DEATH OF THE NORTHWOOD INTELS THERE IS NOT MUCH POINT IN GOING INTEL. MAKE SURE YOU GET AT LEAST A 6600GT CARD OR BETTER FOR THAT RIG. I'M SORRY ABOUT YOUR HEARING LOSS. :smile:

Dos'nt realy matter as long as it's a recent high performance CPU(top or near top of range), combined with a medium to high GC and ram.

Dont even think about Intel unless your ready to spend alot of money. Then you still probably wont be any better off, just poorer.
