Wondering if people here can help me decide on a monitor. I use a PC for gaming on and have a MacBook Pro for everyday use, web design and programming. I want to hook the two up to one screen but I cannot decide if I would be better going for IPS or TN with 120Hz as both come with their own advantages and disadvantages.
Two monitors have my eye on are:
Dell U2713HM - Good IPS I believe not much ghosting and the anti-glare coating is much less than the old model although response time is now 8ms instead of 6 but I don't think it will be noticeable?

Asus VG278H 3D - I like the Samsung ones but they are restricted in that they aren't very adjustable and Nvidia 2 3D on this monitor too

So what I want to know is should I go the IPS or 120hz TN route baring in mind I do use the PC for gaming so response and lag times need to be considered.
