color of neon in CV...................

hello........after seeing a previous post of the website that has all
different colors of neon for the CV, I was wondering what color or colors
everyone likes the most. I realize that this may have been covered and
there is such thing as google........but opinions change and I am asking
NOW.....not then.

so lets have it.......those of you that have a CV. did you stick with the
original or did you go with something else.....or......have you never had
to change. and if you did what color or colors would you go to.

Ive got the blue neon but have only seen a green neon one in person I
can only say I perfer blue over green. I would like to see a row of
CV's lined up with all the differnt colors just to get a real good idea
of how they play off the existing colors on the pf.

I have seen green, purple, and red. Purple rocks, especially in neon
multiball. I like the color blue and would like to see one. I don't
know though because there isn't really any blue in the game for it to
compliment.

I have Red in mine, but would much rather have Purple. Anybody have a
purple for sale ;)

There was someone making multicolored ones a while back, don't remember
who. You could choose what colors up to three or one solid color. If
someone remembers who LMK, I may buy one now.

I have purple in my game, and have seen games with green, blue and red also.

Purple and green are the best, as they match the color of the game.

I'll be part of the minority and stick with Red, which is the one I had on
mine, I've seen many others. I think it does a great job of bringing out
those smaller colors on the playfield, and isn't really all that much of a
distraction when its lit.

The yellow ball is the best color of ball, regardless of the neon color. Of
course, this is only an opinion.

I have a friend who has been bending custom glass for our shop for
years. I had him bend up a few new colors for mine. It was green and
got tired of it so I did ones in purple, Ruby Red (nicer than the clear
red) and Turqoise. Thinking of doing a novial gold (rich yellow) next
to see what it looks like.
Anyone want a differet color e mail me. I have a neon color chart on my
wall of about 25 different colors.

If I get a chance I will post some pictures in the next week or so of
the ones I have done.

I had purple in mine and I think it is bar none the best color. My
buddy has blue and it looks very bland. Green is also high on the list
but man that purple really rocks on CV.

On topic, I have green and it fits the game but it can be a little
bright and harsh IMO (like during neon multiball). I think purple
would be ideal - it's on my buy list, along with Robert Winter's nice,
subtle electroluminescent light mod.
