The base station drops the internet connection a few
times a day. I have to disconnect the power and let the
base reboot. I am running windows xp sp-2 with the
firmware update installed. Any other suggestions that
would help would be appreciated.

Instead of doing the power cycle check the basestation log & post the
last ten entries here. Then we will have a better idea of what is wrong.

You also should post what kind of connection this is (DSL, Cable, Etc...).

What kind of IP address you have (PPPoE, Dynamic, or Static)?

I noticed in your log that you have three IP address being blocked by
"Parental controls", so I'll ask some more questions & Make a few
suggestion on what to do next.

Are you on the computer with the 192.168.2.3 address?

Are you on the computer with the 192.168.2.77 address?

Are you on the computer with the 192.168.2.170 address?

Also is it only some sites like http://ar.atwola.com/ &
http://www.aim.com/ ?

One other thing you might want to do is go to
http://housecall.antivirus.com & scan for viruses online for free (I
don't trust your anti-virus software because that is the first thing
attacked by modern viruses).

After that then you should download, install, update, & then scan with
both "Spybot Search & Destroy" & "Ad-Aware".

You just might want to also check on what "Parental controls" you have
configured in the MN-700.
