last MS critical update screws up UISata

system is latest model Dell Precision 650 workstation with dual Serial
ATA drives and controller

after applying latest 5 MS critical updates (today), these events come
up brand new in the XP Pro Event Log

Event ID:7026
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
UlSata

Event ID:7022
The Task Scheduler service hung on starting.

Event ID:16391
The BITS job list is not in a recognized format. It may have been
created by a different version of BITS. The job list has been
cleared.

I'm running XP Pro on a 350 Workstation... No problems with the latest 5.
